report: our very first donation

At treasure&bond, our first quarter in business officially ended November 31, 2011. Since we’ve been open, we’ve served many customers and made some good friends. We’ve gotten to know our neighbors and we’re learning something new every single day. When we opened our doors, we said that we plan to donate 100% of our profits to non-profit organizations benefitting children of New York City. And while we haven’t turned a profit yet, we are happy to report that we’ve donated $14,520 to both The New York Public Library and to the New York City Young Men’s Initiative, our initial non-profit partners. That’s a combined donation of $29,040 for the first quarter.

We want to thank everyone who’s come in, bought something, given us feedback, liked us on Facebook, retweeted something we’ve said or just stopped by to say hello.  We look forward to serving you in the future.
